In almost every arcade you enter, you are going to hear the sounds of skeeball being played. You know the game – that fun game where you roll those balls up the ramp and try to get them into one of those holes for points. In fact, skeeball is one of my favorite games at a video arcade, and that is why I love Arcade Bowling, one of my favorite iPod touch games.

We all know how it is to have games for our iPod touches that are nothing like the original games, but that isn’t the case with Arcade Bowling. From the graphics to the way that the game is played, people who love skeeball are also going to love it. At the beginning of the game, you choose your mode, and then you are taken into the actual arcade.

The ball is readied by placing your finger on your iPod’s touch screen and then is rolled by flicking your finger in the direction of the holes. If you are trying to get your ball in a certain hole, make sure that your flick is aimed that way. And what is even better is that the ball can be controlled in the air by using the accelerometer. Even though its simple design makes it perfect for showcasing your device, you may find that it’s difficult to control it at first. You can slow the ball down if you tilt the iPod towards you, but you have to do it fast to make any difference.

For anyone who loves playing skeeball, this game is a must have. It’s a way to enjoy playing the game anywhere and anytime, and it’s something that you are going to be glad to have. Arcade Bowling is one of the iPod games that is fun for everyone.
