For people who are fans of text iPod touch games such as Scrabble, they are going to love playing the game Textopolis which can be played both on the iPhone and the iPod touch. The goal of the game is to use the letters that are in the city’s name to make as many words as possible out of them. There’s a total of thirty cities in the game, and you have to get at least ten percent of the words to get to city in the next level. The words that are spelled have to be at least four letters long, but plurals do count.
This game is great for anyone, no matter how well they spell or their age. The reason is that there is no limit to the times that the game is started and stopped, and something that people who don’t spell well will like is that there isn’t a timer. This means you can as long as you want to find words. A feature that people often find amusing and cool is that the definitions fly through the sky when a word is correctly spelled.
The way that you keep track of how many words you have gotten for each city is by the number of stars on the game’s home screen. There are five stars for each city, with five meaning that you got all the words.
This game is a good one for beginners and experts alike. It’s good for kids to help them with their spelling and it’s challenging enough to make even the most seasoned spellers stop and think. The graphics aren’t really high tech, but that’s not really needed in this type of game. They are good enough to be enjoyable.
This is definitely a good game for everyone who enjoys a spelling challenge, and a definite choice for fans of iPod touch games.
